OVERVIEW OF ALUZINC STEEL COIL

Also known as galvalume or zincalume steel, coil coated galvanized steelis a form of cold rolled galvanized steel with metal coating composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. Its unique composition gives aluzinc coated steelsome distinctive features by the combination of the physical protection and high durability of aluminum and the electrochemical protection of zinc.

The density of 55% aluminum is smaller than that of zinc. With the same weight and thickness of the plating layer, the area of the galvalume zinc coated steel coilis 3% or larger than that of a galvanized steel sheet.
