Description

Straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe mill is a newly developed product. It is the patented product of our company. CFOE mill is composed of coiler car, decoiler, peeler and straightener, pinch and leveling machine, side guide unit, end shear and butt-welding machine, edge miller, plate cleaning unit (optional), main drive, pre-bend unit, forming machine, internal welding unit, external welding unit, online ultrasonic tester, cut off unit. Straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe mill is also called CFOE mill. CFOE means continuous flexible forming and straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe.

Features1. Straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe mill adopts continuous production, so there is no need to change the rollers in rough-forming section when the specification needs to be changed.2. The quality of CFOE mill is reliable in the welding seam technology.3. The pipe produced by the CFOE mill just covers most pipes which are currently used by oil and gas casing. The mill also has a good market prospect.4. Straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe mill shares outstanding advantages such as low production cost and high production capacity.5. CFOE mill is able to ease the serious competition problem of JCOE mill due to low production capacity and over high price.6. Compared with ERW, the quality and energy consumption of straight seam submerged-arc welded pipe mill is easier to be controlled.7. The welding seam of CFOE mill overcomes the shortages of long welding seam and difficult inspection on inbuilt spiral welding seam. Compared with UOE and JCOE, the investment cost and production cost are low.8. CFOE mill can be the complement mill for the JCOE mill because it is hard and uneconomical for UOE and JCOE to produce the pipes within the diameter range of Φ219 to Φ711.
