Main purpose:

The Si80 domestic carbon arc aging chamber is a comprehensive climate testing device mainly used to simulate the changes in materials exposed to sunlight under different environmental conditions. It uses a carbon arc lamp that can simulate the spectrum of sunlight to measure the light resistance of materials. It is suitable for the selection of new materials for various materials such as plastics, rubber, paints, coatings, textiles, as well as the evaluation of durability after existing material improvements or changes in material composition.

Main parameters:

1. Light source: Composed of carbon arcs between upper and lower carbon rods, the arc voltage and arc current can be adjusted according to specific models. For example, some models have an arc voltage of 50V and an arc current of 60A.

2. Filter: Use specific glass filters, such as the Korex 7058 glass filter, to reduce unwanted radiation.

3. Temperature range: The temperature inside the test chamber can be adjusted as needed, usually within a certain temperature range, such as 0-80 ℃.
