The gypsum board fire stability tester assesses fire resistance of refractory gypsum boards and other building/decorative materials. Samples are suspended between two burners using liquefied petroleum gas as heat, with burners 30 mm from the surface. Loads are applied as per standards, and temperature is maintained at (800 ± 30) °C. The time until sample breakage is recorded, with the minimum of five tests determining fire stability (accurate to 1 min).
