The Curtain Combustion Tester is designed to evaluate the flame resistance of textiles and fabrics used in window coverings, public spaces, and construction materials. The instrument simulates standardized combustion conditions, providing accurate measurements of flame spread, combustion time, and weight loss after testing. This ensures compliance with fire safety regulations and supports material development and quality control.

NFPA 701 (2004 & 2009 Edition, Test Method 1): Standard for flame resistance of fabrics and films.
Features
Testing Principle: Samples are moistened, vertically clamped, and exposed to a Meker burner flame for 45 seconds. Flame spread and combustion duration are recorded.
Key Components
Test Chamber: Black interior with transparent observation window (675×500×700mm).
Sample Clamp: Parallel longitudinal mounting at 150mm×400mm, with adjustable nail positions (37mm, 66mm, 95mm, 124mm, 153mm).
Exhaust System: Automatic emission control for smoke/fumes.
Ignition: Automatic flame application with 100mm height adjustment.
