Cleaning air blowers for Fabric Filter
The fly ash laden flue gas enters the fabric filter compartments via the raw gas inlet in a downward
direction. The low inlet velocity promotes pre-separation of coarse particulates and ensures uniform
flow distribution before the flue gas enters the filter bag bundle. The gas then filters through the bags
from the outside to the inside and the clean gas discharges from the fabric filter via the clean gas duct.
As fly ash laden gas is filtered by the bags, the differential pressure across the plant will gradually
increase requiring the bags to be cleaned. This is accomplished by on-line cleaning of the bags by
means of the reverse pulse system. EURUS positive displacement blowers are great solution to this kind of application in power plant.
