Synopsis:Asbestos fibre packing impregnated PTFE and oil is braided from asbestos yarns impregnated with PTFE dispersion, treated with pure minenal oil. It is a flexible, resilient, homogeneous and compact packing. Asbestos fibre packing impregnated PTFE and oil can be utilized on stainless steel or chromed shafts in the presence of high peripheral speeds without etching them. This gland packing is suitable for alkalis, thinned inorganic acids, water, steam, organic gases, solutions of every kind. It can be utilized in paper mills, dyeing plant, foodstuff, pharmaceutical and oenologic industries.
