FINE POLISHING AND FINISHING

Fine polishingis the process of generating a reflective surface. Typically, polishes are created by using micron or sub-micron abrasive particles in combination with a liquid. Polishing is a "wet" process. The polishing process usually uses a pad to hold the abrasive, so polishing may not be a "loose abrasive process". The material removed during polishing is very small, usually measured in microns. The surface finish of the workpiece to be polished must be of high quality prior to polishing, so pre-polishing is often a "grinding" surface.

Features Of Fine Cut Polishing Compoundand Finishing

Polishing Purpose: fine grinding and polishing; during this processing, usally the depth of the whole metalmorphic layer is abut 3 μm and less.

Abrasive materials: fine abrasive particles and materials that make the abrasive particles have a very fine effect on the workpiece;

Machining Fluid: Provides abrasive, chip removal, cooling and unnecessary friction reduction effects
