The 3 piece floating ball valvewith the internal thread and the gate valve are the same type of valve. The difference is that the closing part is a ball, and the ball rotates around the center line of the valve body to achieve a valve that is opened and closed.
The three-piece ball valve only needs to be rotated tightly with a 90-degree rotation and a small rotational torque. The completely equal valve body cavity provides a small, straight flow path for the medium. It is generally considered that the ball valve is most suitable for opening and closing directly, and the ball valve has been designed to have a throttling and control flow. The main characteristics of the ball valve are its compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, suitable for general working media such as water, solvent, acid and natural gas, and also suitable for working media with poor working conditions such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane and ethylene. The ball valve body can be integral or modular.
The three-piece ball valve is a lind of new type of ball valve. It has some unique advantages of its own structure, such as the switch without friction, the seal is not easy to be abrased, and the opening and closing torque is small. This will reduce the specifications of the actuators fitted. Equipped with multi-turn electric actuators, it can realize media adjustment and strict close. It can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, urban water supply and drainage and other conditions require strict cut off.
