Applications:

This equipment is designed to test the automotive interior decorating materials in the automotive industry, to test scratch resistantperformance of plastic, rubber, leather, fabric,coating material,non-coating material and othercomposite materials.

Product Information:

Multifunctional scratch tester can be used to determine automotive interior materials, the instrument integrated three Chinese test standards (The five fingers scratching method, 100 lattice method, plastic scraper scraping method)

Scraping principle: this method is used to determine the surface materials’ ability to resist damage caused by scraping means. According to the material in the using procedure may come into contact with the nails or other hard objects . According to the provisions of the direction, speed, stroke to use different kind of scraping means in a certain pressure in the surface of the sample .The scraping tip and the sample do a relative motion to produce a linear scratch non reciprocating scratches, this will maintain a balance between scratch track and scratch. Evaluate the scratch sensory level, the color difference between scratch area and non-scratch area or the minimum scratch force when the sample comes to the damage.

The basic composition:The instrument consists of motor driving mechanism, scraping accessories, sample clamping and fixing device etc. And scraping accessories includes a bracket, a finger, a scraping finger location sleeve, a pressure device (weight and weight support rod) etc.
