Activated carbon wear resistance tester ​

Applicable standards:

GB/T 30202.3-2013: This is the wear resistance test standard in the test method of coal-based granular activated carbon for desulfurization and denitrification. The standard specifies the specific methods and requirements for testing the wear resistance of activated carbon to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the test results.

Main parameters:

Drum speed: The drum of the tester usually rotates at a certain speed, so that the activated carbon is subjected to mechanical wear in the drum. Common drum speed is 50±0.5 RPM, or 50±2 RPM, depending on the tester model and test needs.

Drum inner diameter: The inner diameter of the drum is also one of the important parameters of the tester. The common inner diameter of the drum is 200mm, but other specifications may exist. The size of the inner diameter of the drum will affect the motion state and wear of activated carbon in the drum.

Drum baffle: The drum is usually provided with a baffle for lifting and dropping activated carbon particles to increase its wear effect. Parameters such as the height, thickness and length of the baffle also affect the test results. The common baffle height is 30mm, the thickness is 3-4mm, the length is 70mm, and two pieces are symmetrically distributed on the inner wall of the drum.

Display mode: The tester usually uses the LED digital display mode, which is used to display the number of revolutions, time and other parameters. Some testers also have the function of manual reset or automatic reset at boot, which is convenient for users to operate.

Power supply voltage: The power supply voltage of the tester is usually AC 220V 50Hz, but other voltage specifications may also exist. The stability of the power supply voltage has an important influence on the normal operation of the tester and the accuracy of the test results.

Power range: The power range of the tester may vary from model to model, with a common power of 120W or 280W. The power level will affect the operating efficiency and energy consumption of the tester.

Overall size and weight: The overall size and weight of the tester also vary by model. Common dimensions such as 430mm×270mm×280mm or 496mm×462mm×328mm, weight may be 20Kg or other values. These parameters affect the placement and transportation of the tester.
