Applications:
The Helmet Surface Friction Tester presses a helmet onto a movable fixture with a certain force. The surface of the fixture is attached with sandpaper of the grain size specified in the standard. Then, the test helmet is moved across the surface of the sandpaper at a certain speed, so as to evaluate the abrasion - resistance performance of the helmet.

1. This testing machine can conduct tests on the protruding areas and surface friction. 2. Impact weight: 15 kg 3. Free - fall height: 500 mm 4. Weight of the loading mechanism: 400 N (40.8 kg) 5. The release mechanism is controlled by an electromagnet. 6. Sandpaper or shear blocks can be installed on the horizontal guide frame for linear friction with the shear surface of the helmet. 7. The device for installing the head model is adjustable.
