Helmet Xenon Aging Tester

The helmet xenon lamp aging tester is a device that simulates the damage caused by long-term exposure of helmets to ultraviolet radiation from sunlight outdoors. This device can reproduce the UV aging resistance performance of helmet materials in just a few days or weeks, which would otherwise take months or years outdoors.

Applications

Structure

Test Procedures

Check the equipment status: Ensure the xenon lamp aging tester is in good working condition. Check that the xenon lamp is clean and undamaged, and that the equipment is properly grounded.

Preheat the equipment: Before formal testing, turn on the equipment and let it run for a period of time to reach a stable state. This helps reduce temperature fluctuations and light intensity changes during the testing process.

Prepare the samples: Fix the samples to be tested onto the sample holder according to the requirements, ensuring that the exposed surface of the sample faces the light source and that the entire working area of the sample is exposed within the effective light source range.

Set test parameters: According to the test requirements, set appropriate temperature and humidity conditions through the control panel or software interface on the equipment. These conditions should be as close as possible to or simulate the conditions of the sample in its actual use environment.

Start the equipment: Turn on the "main power" switch on the back of the equipment, then turn on the "power on" button on the control panel to start the equipment. Press the "Xenon lamp preparation" button, and after the xenon lamp preheats and stabilizes, press the "Ignition" button to start the test.
