Sex pheromone lure for Plutella xylostella Insect attractant for diamondback mothDETAIL:This pheromone lure is for Plutella xylostella, the diamondback moth.Manufactured with high quality sex pheromone and constant release rubber septa or PVC carriers, our pheromone lures are species specific, residue free and effective for attracting targeted adult male damaging insects for more than 45 days in the fields, perfect for monitoring or mass trapping.INSECT INFORMATION:The diamondback moth, sometimes called cabbage moth, is one of the most important pests of cruciferous crops in the world and usually only feeds on plants that produce glucosinolates.Larvae damage leaves, buds, flowers, and seed-buds of cultivated cruciferous plants. Although the larvae are small, they can be very numerous and cause complete removal of foliar tissue except for the leaf veins. This is damaging to young seedlings and may disrupt head formation in cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower.
