CARL LEISS BERLIN-STEGLITZ BLUME VINTAGE FORESTRY TREE HEIGHT ALTIMETER
The ALTIMeter accurately measures tree heights by obtaining the elevation angle between you and the measured points on the tree. Height measurements are read directly from the altimeter dependent upon fixed baseline distances of 15m, 20m, 30m, and 40m. Each altimeter also features percent/degree conversions and degree/slope correction factors on the back of the instrument. Designed with ultimate ease of use in mind, the ALTIMeter features a built-in rangefinder for determining baseline distance. Two release buttons and indicators allow you to easily scan both the lowermost and uppermost points of the tree and then lock in the two separate measurements on the scale of instrument. These two values can then be recorded directly from the scale and used to calculate actual height. Carrying case include
