Industrial guide wheels made of titanium carbide are wear-resistant

The hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels exhibit a broad operating temperature range, maintaining stable performance in environments from -100°C to 600°C. These guide wheels are suitable for both low-temperature frozen pipe manufacturing and high-temperature hot rolling processes. The hub and flange are integrally designed, eliminating potential detachment issues associated with welding or bonding methods, thereby ensuring structural integrity and achieving a service life exceeding 100,000 hours. In cable production, these guide wheels enable precise control of insulation layer concentricity, limiting deviation to within 0.05 mm and ensuring consistent electrical performance. Compared to ceramic guide wheels, they demonstrate superior toughness, making them more resistant to damage from minor impacts and significantly reducing replacement frequency. Their service life is approximately two to three times longer than that of ceramic counterparts. In steel cord manufacturing, a single set of these guide wheels can support the production of over 1,000 tons of cord, whereas ceramic guide wheels typically last only 300 to 500 tons. Due to their excellent cost-performance ratio, these guide wheels have been widely adopted in the tire industry, contributing to enhanced wear resistance and improved tire safety.
