For the manufacturing of high-density titanium carbide rod molds
The anti-adhesion performance of titanium carbide round rods made of hard alloy is outstanding. When processing sticky materials such as aluminum alloy and copper alloy, the phenomenon of "tool sticking" is less likely to occur, ensuring a smooth processing surface. Its surface can be further enhanced in terms of wear resistance and oxidation resistance through coating treatment (such as TiAlN coating), increasing the tool life by more than 50%. In the field of medical devices, it is often used to make orthopedic surgical instruments, which not only ensure sharpness but also can withstand high-temperature disinfection without deformation. With the development of 3D printing technology, hard alloy titanium carbide round rods have also been made into powder for 3D printing precision parts. The density of the printed parts can reach 99.5% of the theoretical density, and their performance is comparable to that of traditional sintered parts. It is used as a silicon wafer cutting tool in the photovoltaic industry, which can ensure that the thickness error of the silicon wafer is controlled within ±1μm and improve the conversion efficiency of solar cells. This versatility makes it an indispensable material in the high-end manufacturing field
