Aluminum Zinc Roll is a carbon steel plate which is continuously hot-dipped with an aluminum-zinc alloy. The nominal coating composition is 55% aluminum and 45% zinc. The coated alloy contains small but important silicon. It is not added to improve corrosion performance, but to provide good coating adhesion to the steel substrate during roll forming, drawing or bending of the product during manufacture
