The Chemical Properties Of Carbon In Vacuum Furnace Graphite Block
at room temperature, it is relatively stable and insoluble in water, dilute acid, dilute alkali, and organic solvents;
react and burn with oxygen at different high temperatures to produce carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide;
in halogen, only fluorine can react directly with elemental carbon;
under heating, elemental carbon is easy to be oxidized by acid;
at high temperatures, carbon can also react with many metals to form metal carbides.

Vacuum furnace graphite is not only used to manufacture heating elements and heat shields of vacuum furnaces but also used to manufacture stressed structural parts such as support, material plate, guide rail, bolt, bearing, fan blade, and so on.
