Titanium carbide for extended service life
Tungsten carbide titanium carbide round bar is a high-performance bar made by powder metallurgy process, with titanium carbide as the main hard phase and cobalt or nickel as the binder phase. Its hardness is as high as HRC85 or above, and its wear resistance far exceeds that of ordinary steel, and it can still maintain stable performance even in high temperature environments above 500℃. This round bar size precision is very high, diameter tolerance can be controlled in ± 0.01mm, surface roughness as low as Ra0.02μm, very suitable for the production of precision cutting tools, mould cores and so on. In the processing of stainless steel, titanium alloys and other hard-to-cut materials, the life of the tool made of it is 10-20 times that of high-speed steel tools, which can significantly improve productivity.
