Fiberglass-Thread is a special sewing thread for glass fiber filter materials to sew filter bags. Glass fiber sewing thread can be divided into E-glass fiber sewing thread and C-glass fiber sewing thread according to different components. Sewing thread is made of high-quality alkali free glass fiber yarn, which is produced by a specific process into thread embryo and coated with organic matter. The treated yarn is smoother, softer, more durable, folding resistant, high temperature resistant, chemical corrosion resistant, high strength, etc. it does not untwist when sewing on high-speed industrial sewing machine, so as to ensure that the stitches are smooth, lint free and continuous during sewing. The sewn high-temperature filter bag is used at 280 °high temperature, and will not crack or break the thread.
Alkali free glass fiber sewing thread is commonly used in two specifications: ec6-12.5 ×3×4Z and ec6 - (12.5×4×4Z). Besides being used in the sewing of glass fiber and high temperature resistant filter material, it can also be used in the sewing of weak acid and weak alkali corrosion resistant fabric, and can also be used as the sewing thread of fire-resistant material, such as fire-proof bag, fire-proof blanket, smoke proof draper and fire-proof roll up curtain. It can be sewed by hand or by machine, however the folding and wear resistance of manual sewing is weakened by hand, so it is not recommended.
