Usage of Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber
Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is widely used as potting and mold making materials. Classification of Vulcanized Silicone Rubber

Precautions about Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber
The base material, crosslinker and catalyst are first weighed separately and then mixed in proportion.
Usually the two components should be offered in different colors so that the mixing of the two components can be visually observed. The mixing process should be done carefully to minimize the amount of entrapped gas. After the compound is well mixed (uniform color), the air bubbles can be removed by standing or by decompression (vacuum 700 mmHg), and after all the air bubbles are discharged, the silicone rubber is vulcanized at room temperature or at a specified temperature for a certain time.
