Hastelloy C276 is a Ni Cr Mo wrought alloy and is considered the most common corrosion-resistant alloy. The alloy C276 is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in HAZ, so it is suitable for most chemical process applications in welding conditions. ASTM Hastelloy C276 also has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900°F. Alloy C-276 has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical environments.
