Polycarbonate Materials - Shaded Light Penetration
Best known for its high impact-strength, formability and non-electrical conductivity, polycarbonate is highly transparent to visible light, with better light transmission than many kinds of glass.
The interference color can also be easily altered with the color pigment additives.
For areas requiring not only shade in color, but also heat reduction, VULCAN polycarbonate sheets can also be tailored by adding infrared blocking material, thus lowering heat penetration and temperatures, while at the same time, provide extra shade and reduced glare.
