RTV silicone rubber for sculpture mold is flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50 A ° after curing with features:
1)low shrinkage 2)good operation 3)high tear and tensile strength 4)curing agent free 5)easy de-mold 6)high reproduction times 7)resistance to deformation and high-temperature, acid-alkali
Operations of RTV silicone rubber for sculpture mold
If customers want to make large products and large size moulds, the mould should be made of silicone rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mould with fine and precision patterns, it should be made of silicone with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If mould requiring fast drying and demould, more curing is needed.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicon oil. If a special soft silicom mould or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5% - 10% silicon oil could be added to soften the mould for easy demould.)
