Dry-type transformer with on-load voltage regulation is a kind of dry-type transformer which can be conducted manually or automatically adjusting dry-type transformer in the case of power on, meet the requirements of dry-type transformer that requires voltage stability, voltage fluctuation frequently and larger amplitude occasions. At this stage, the on-load transformer are all the grads regulator, the normal tap range is 10kv, voltage grade regulator range is the +10%—-10% of rated voltage, there are nine grades, voltage regulator range can be designed according to user’ requirements, but the maximum not exceed 20%.
Distinguishes between on-load regulator transformer and normal transformer are as following:
1. Regulation pressure axial head of high-voltage coil set in accordance with the switch requirement, and more than the normal transformer.
2. As at this stage the voltage regulating method is turn-tune, there must set the on-load tap-changer to switch the safety on-load of tap turns
3. Tap-changer are all set with controllers, and regulating switch by controllers. The switch also can be set manually or automatically.
