Screw Pin D Shackle U.S. Type
Screw Pin D Shackle U.S. Type, also known as shackle d type screw pin.
D-shackle due to its “D”shape, they are intended for use in straight line pulls or lifts only.
d shackle screw pin type, meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26.
This chain shackle,fitted with screw pin, the body of shackle made from carbon steel, screw pin made from carbon steel or alloy steel. The surface finish is Hot Dip Galvanized, Electro Plated, Self-Color, Powder coated, and through tempered and quenched, strong and durable.
These galvanized chain shackles are excellent for use with single leg web lifting slings such as nylon slings and polyester slings. When paired with chain, they provide a connecting link to connect to other hardware. It’s important to note that they should be used only with single leg slings, as slings with multiple legs could cause side loading conditions.
Working load Limit from 1/2 Ton to 55 Ton are available in grades 4 and 6, with grade 4 meaning that the breaking load is 4 times the working load limit and grade 6 meaning that the breaking load is 6 times the working load limit.
