Marine-Grade UHMWPE Rods: Corrosion-Resistant & Long-Lasting
UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) rodsare high-performance engineering plastic products made from UHMWPE with a molecular weight ≥3 million. This material inherits UHMWPE’s exceptional wear resistance, ultra-low friction coefficient, chemical corrosion resistance, and impact resistance, while offering excellent machinability.

1Superior Wear Resistance
5–8 times more wear-resistant than nylon and over 10 times more wear-resistant than steel (ASTM D1044), ensuring long service life in high-friction applications.
2 Self-Lubricating & Low Friction
Dry friction coefficient 0.1–0.3 (ASTM D1894), eliminating the need for external lubrication and reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
3Impact Resistance & Low-Temperature Toughness
Notched impact strength ≥80 kJ/m² (ASTM D6110), low-temperature embrittlement point ≤-150°C (ASTM D746), suitable for extreme cold environments.
4Corrosion Resistance & Hygiene Safety
Resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents (ASTM D543). Complies with FDA food-grade certification, non-toxic and odorless, ideal for food and medical industries.
5Lightweight & Easy Machining
Density 0.93–0.94 g/cm³ (75% lighter than metals), easily machined into precision components like gears, bearings, and bushings.
