Hot Shrinkage Mould
The life of hot shrinkage mouldis closely related to the extruded material and extrusion ratio, and the life of the die and mandrel is greatly shortened when processing metal materials with large deformation tension or high extrusion ratio. The lubrication conditions and cooling of the mold have a great influence on the mold life.
In addition, for hot shrink mouldwith serious wear under high-temperature conditions, especially molds that extrude complex shape workpieces, sometimes austenitic thermodynamic mold steel with high heat strength and insert molds with special materials, including special cemented carbide, alumina and zirconia ceramic materials.
