Brief specification for line reactor
The line reactor is used to prevent harmonics mainly generated by power source of inverter. It helps to ensure long time running of equipment by absorbing power disturbances which may otherwise damage motors and drives. Hence, the low voltage reactor is able to increase drive reliability of equipment.
Features for line reactor
1. The line reactor greatly reduces catastrophic drive failures due to transient over-voltage.
2. The low voltage reactor decreases nuisance over-voltage trips due to line transients, drastically:
(1)Utility power factor correction
(2)Switching large AC motor loads
(3)Switching large transformers
(4)High AC line conditions
3. Line-side fuse operation during unsymmetrical voltage sags is reduced to the minimum:
(1)Utility system line-to-ground faults
(2)Unbalanced phase currents
4. The line reactor can also prevent harmonics and effectively improve power factor
