3 Inch Gate Valve
Description of 3 Inch Gate Valve:
ZECO 3 inch stainless steel gate valveand 2 flanged gate valveis mainly used for fully open or fully closed switching valves. They are usually not used for throttling purposes, but for slurries, viscous fluids, etc. Gate valves feature a removable wedge that moves with the stem nut. The wedge moves perpendicular to the direction of flow. Gate valves usually have a minimum pressure drop when fully open, provide tight shut-off when fully closed, and remain relatively free of contamination buildup.
