They are placed directly in the product stream allowing free flowing products to come in direct contact with the grate. They are designed to remove medium and small-size ferrous tramp metal contaminants from dry, granular free-flowing product streams in gravity-fed vertical chutes, hoppers, housings, surge or catch bins and deliver ferrous tramp metal separation in bins, chutes, drawers, hoppers and circular enclosures. GME grate magnets are constructed with magnetic tubes (range from diameter 6mm-63mm) placed on SUS 304 or SUS 316 stainless steel framing.
