Stainless steel pipe fittings are typically rated for 150 psi for water, oil, and gas, making them ideal for low-pressure transfer. The corrosion and heat resistance of stainless steel is also variable, with type stainless steel pipe nipples 316being more resistant than typestainless steel pipe nipples 304.
