Vulcanized Fiber tube/fuse tube/steel paper tube
The vulcanized fiber tube is made by wrapping zinc chloride treated paper on the Mandrel to a predetermined wall thickness. They will then undergo a cleaning, drying, rolling, grinding and polishing process to obtain the required inside and outside diameters. The density of vulcanized fiber tube is about 1.40 g/cm3. It has good physical properties, mechanical properties, dielectric strength, ARC RESISTANCE AND ARC extinguishing characteristics. Due to its excellent processability, the vulcanized fiber tube can be ground, knurled, helical cut, threaded, turned, and easily manufactured into a variety of products. The main applications of vulcanized fiber tubes are fuse boxes, high voltage fuses, bushings, surge arresters, grommets, insulators and bushings.
