Biolign Rotoloc Cervical Plate
Cervical Plate: The cervical plate is manufactured from titanium Ti6Al4V ELI. A unique screw locking mechanism is incorporated into the design of the plate, allowing the surgeon to insert screws, finally securing their position by means of the rotational locking cap. This makes it impossible for the screw to back out of the plate. The plate is curved in the longitudinal and transverse planes to match patient anatomy. Plate sizes start at 20mm up to 94mm.Fixed Screw: The fixed screw has a parallel shoulder that matches the plate holes. This locks the screw in a specific direction. Screws are available in 4.2mm and 4.6mm diameters, and lengths 12mm, 14mm, 16mm and 18mm.Rotating (swivel) Screw: The screw head matches the spherical surface of the plate hole and allows the screw to rotate, and to be screwed in at an optimal angle as decided by the surgeon. Screws are available in 4.2mm and 4.6mm diameters, and lengths of 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm.For identification purposes the screws are colour coded.
