Stainless steel is one of the most widely used and versatile type of steel. Stainless steel is often referred to as 'corrosion-resistant steel' - it does not stain, corrode or rust as easily as normal carbon steel. There are more than 60 grades of stainless steel and divided into five families.
Stainless steel sheetis used to manufacture products in a variety of industries where extreme conditions may exist such as marine, oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, food processing, wastewater and other applications. Stainless steel sheets are also used in various architectural applications and sheet metal component manufacturing industry. Stainless steel sheets can be easily formed into various shapes, and polished as per customer requirements, making it the most important raw material for sheet metal component industry.
