Asbestos Yarn
asbestos yarn Twisted with two or more strands of asbestos fiber. Extensively used as culking, sealing and heat insulation materials on thermal installations and heat conduction systems operated at temperatures up to 250-550centigrade, and also used for making other asbestos products.
Dust free yarn: Composed of around 99% asbestos fiber and 1% chemical powder, color: White, temperature: 550
Dusted yarn: Composed by around 70-85% asbestos fiber and 15-25% cotton fiber, color: White, temperature: 250 ~ 550A? C, according to quality grade of asbestos fiber, it can be divided into five grades: Common, a grade, AA grade, AAA grade, and aaaa grade, different grade has different temperature resistance and tensil strength, the yarn can be reinforced by glass fiber yarn, brass yarn, and stainless steel yarn according to requirements.
Twisted asbestos yarn with metallic (copper wire, nickel wire or stainless wire) are also available.
Refractoriness: 250-550centigrade Refractoriness of dust free twisted asbestos yarn: 480~550centigrade Spec: 1.5mm-50mm Packing: In plastic woven bag of 50kgs net each.
