Micronized wax for road construction

The application of wax micronized powder in road marking is mainly used as a functional additive to improve the performance of marking coatings. The following are its specific uses and advantages:

Anti-adhesion: wax micropowder (such as polyethylene wax, Fischer-Tropsch wax, etc.) added to hot melt road marking coatings can form a fine wax layer on the surface of the coatings, reduce the adhesion of dust and oil, and reduce the wear and tear of vehicle tires on the markings.

Anti-pollution: especially in rainy and snowy weather, the hydrophobicity of wax can delay the penetration of pollutants and keep the reflectivity of the marking line.

Wax micropowder can enhance the hardness and abrasion resistance of the paint, reduce the wear and tear caused by long-term vehicle crushing, and extend the life of the marking line.

Synergize with resin, glass beads and other ingredients to enhance mechanical strength.

Fluidity and dispersion: Wax micropowder can improve the fluidity of the paint in the high temperature molten state, making the construction smoother and the marking line more level.

Anti-settling: Prevent fillers (such as titanium dioxide, glass beads) in the paint from settling when stored, and maintain uniformity.

The wax layer on the surface can protect the reflective glass beads from falling off easily and maintain the reflective effect at night.

Part of the wax micropowder (such as vegetable-based wax) can replace petroleum-derived components, reducing the burden on the environment. Reduce the cost of frequent maintenance of marking.
