Closed Body Pinch Valve
The operating principle of the FNC® enclosed pinch valve is straightforward. When in the open position, the valve provides a full-bore passage, allowing unrestricted flow of the medium. During closure, two pinch bars compress the valve sleeve along the centerline, shutting off the flow. The sleeve is inherently wear-resistant. When solid particles strike the rubber surface of the sleeve, the energy is absorbed and then released as the rubber returns to its original shape. Even if solid debris accumulates on the inner wall of the sleeve, compressing the sleeve causes any crystallized particles to dislodge and be flushed away by the flow. This design allows heavy-duty pinch valves to achieve bubble-tight sealing performance.
