In industrial cooling, single-operation systems relying solely on dry coolers or wet cooler can hardly adapt to diverse climatic conditions and complex operating requirements across global regions. The hybrid dry-wet cooling tower independently developed by CHT TECK GROUP, with its innovative composite heat exchange technology and flexible operation modes, has become a new-generation core industrial cooling solution that delivers high efficiency, reliability, and adaptability to various climates worldwide.
This hybrid adopts an adaptive multi-mode operation principle:
During high-temperature summer periods, the system automatically switches to hybrid dry-wet operation, utilizing evaporative cooling in the wet section to enhance cooling performance, compensate for insufficient heat exchange capacity of pure dry coolers, and ensure stable outlet water temperature.
In winter and during low-temperature nights, it operates in dry-only mode, meeting cooling demands solely through sensible air heat exchange without spray water consumption. This avoids icing, water drift and scaling risks in low-temperature environments, achieving both high efficiency and water conservation.
