Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is the most widely used and the largest amount of cellulose in the world today. It is mainly used in oil industry drilling mud treatment agent, synthetic detergent, organic detergent, textile printing and dyeing sizing agent, daily chemical products water-soluble colloidal viscosifier, pharmaceutical industry viscosifier and emulsifier, food industry viscosifier, ceramic industry adhesive, industrial paste, papermaking industry sizing agent, etc. As a flocculant in water treatment, it is mainly used in wastewater sludge treatment, which can improve the solid content of filter cake.
