These conductors are made by drawing high-purity aluminium intonon-circular cross-section single wiresthrough precision molds and then assembling them withconcentric twisting technology. The resulting profile optimizes the conductor’s cross-sectional structure, minimizing gaps and improving space utilization. This makes AAAC conductors ideal forurban high-voltage networks, rural distribution lines, high-altitude transmission, compact bus ducts, and special power grid scenarioswhere efficiency, low loss, and reliability are critical.
Conductor Structure
Monofilament Profile:
Single wires feature non-circular shapes such astrapezoid, fan-shaped, Z-shaped, or semi-circular, with trapezoidal and fan-shaped being the most widely used.
Twisting Method:
Irregular single wires are arranged concentrically from the center outward.
Outer layer strand count increases with conductor size.
Twist pitch is reduced compared with circular wires, preventing strand slippage and improving mechanical stability.
