Automotive Floor Mat Abrasion Tester
The Automotive Floor Mat Abrasion Tester is designed for evaluating the abrasion resistance of automotive floor mats and textile floor coverings. The tester simulates the repetitive friction generated by a driver’s heel during vehicle operation and quantitatively assesses material wear behavior under defined load and friction angle conditions.
The equipment is compact, mechanically stable, and easy to operate, making it suitable for routine testing in product development, quality control, and durability verification.
Standards
The tester is designed according to the following standard:
(1) PV 3934 – Abrasion testing of automotive floor coverings and floor mats
Customer-specific or internal standards can be implemented upon request.
