Test Procedures
(1) Prepare the sample by cutting it to Ø70 mm and placing it on the vacuum specimen platform.
(2) Verify cylinder weight and ensure dual thermocouples are properly positioned.
(3) Set the desired temperature range and cylinder velocity on the touchscreen PLC.
(4) Initiate the test; the brass cylinder impacts the sample while data is collected at 100 kHz.
(5) Monitor thermal readings and ensure safety shield is in position.
(6) Upon completion, export data to CSV or generate automated reports using ThermalGuard Pro.
