Titanium carbide guide wheel - wear-resistant

The titanium carbide hard alloy guide wheel exhibits outstanding thermal shock resistance, maintaining structural integrity during rapid temperature fluctuations from room temperature to 300°C and back. This characteristic makes it highly suitable for intermittent industrial operations. The guide wheels are available in a broad dimensional range, with diameters spanning 50 mm to 500 mm and widths from 10 mm to 100 mm, enabling compatibility with various drawing and rolling machinery. In optical fiber and cable manufacturing, these guide wheels ensure precise fiber alignment, maintaining signal attenuation below 0.2 dB/km and thereby guaranteeing high-quality communication performance. Furthermore, the material demonstrates excellent impact resistance, minimizing the risk of cracking or deformation under sudden wire tensioning or breakage, which contributes to enhanced equipment reliability and reduced downtime. Its superior thermal conductivity facilitates efficient dissipation of frictional heat, maintaining the operational temperature of the guide wheel below 80°C and preventing undesirable annealing of the wire. In spring steel wire production, the use of titanium carbide guide wheels ensures a straightness deviation of no more than 0.5 mm/m, significantly improving the fatigue resistance and overall service life of the final product.
