Carbonitride powder for plastic modification

The particle morphology of this powder can be controlled, and it can be made into spherical, nearly spherical or irregular shapes, meeting the requirements of different molding processes. The spherical powder has good fluidity and is suitable for laser 3D printing. The density of the printed parts can reach 99.8%, and the mechanical properties are comparable to those of traditional sintered parts. The bulk density of the powder can be adjusted by particle size, with fine powder having a low bulk density and suitable for the pressing of complex-shaped parts; coarse powder having a high bulk density and suitable for the molding of large-sized blanks. In the field of personalized medical implants, 3D-printed titanium carbide parts can have good compatibility with human bones and have high strength and low weight. With the development of the new energy industry, titanium carbide powder also has applications in lithium-ion batteries, as a negative electrode material, with a theoretical capacity of 350mAh/g and a cycle life of over 1000 times. After the surface of the powder is coated with a layer of carbon, the conductivity is further enhanced, and the charging and discharging efficiency of the battery is increased to over 95%. In the energy storage field, it provides a new direction for the research and development of high-performance batteries and promotes the progress of new energy technology.
