PET Syringe Carriers Description The handle is attached to the body of the carrier which permits the the lid to be easily lifted for syringe removal. The inside floor of the transporter contains an insert designed to keep syringes separated and held in place. The large interior accommodates shielded 10 cc syringes as well as unshielded 20 cc vials. The Stainless Steel Syringe Carrier is constructed of stainless steel inside and out, with ALL enclosed lead - not painted. The lead walls are poured between the stainless steel, so there is no exposed lead. The syringe carrier will store and transport syringes, vials or ampoules up to 9" long. The lid is overlapping with a latch to prevent streaming. The lid opens 180° for easy access. There are four (4) rubber feet attached to the bottom of the carrier. Shielded Syringe Carriers reduce exposure while storing or transporting radioactive material. The overlapping lid design with snap-latch closure prevents streaming. There are two sizes and thicknesses of lead to choose from. The ends of the carriers are double thick to reduce the exposure from the ends of syringes.
