It can be used as a color developing agent for dyeing and printing of cotton and viscose fabrics, and also as a synthetic organic pigment. |
Applications of Red Base GL
01
It is mainly used for dyeing and printing of cotton fabrics. It can be used to dye bright red (i.e. flag red) in combination with tryptophan AS or AS-D, and also for dyeing of silk, viscose and nylon fabrics.

It is also used as an intermediate of organic pigments. During impregnation, 10~20g/L of salt can be added to the color bath.
