Applications:

Alpha-lipoic acid is also used orally for dementia, chronic fatigue syndrome , HIV/AIDS, cancer, liver disease, cardiovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, intermittent claudication, Lyme disease, and lactic acidosis caused by inborn errors of metabolism.
