Filter cake filtration and deep filtration
According to the filtering mechanism of the filter cake filtration and deep filtration of the points. Filter cake filtration, also known as surface filtration. A fabric, a porous material, a film, or the like is used as a filter medium. The pore size of the filter media need not be less than the particle size of the smallest particles. At the beginning of the filtration, some of the small particles can enter or even pass through the pores of the medium. Particles trapped on the surface of the media form a filter cake layer called filter cake, while the filtrate that passes through the filter cake layer is purified filtrate. Deep filtration generally used thick filter media bed filter class (such as sand, diatomaceous earth, etc.) as a filter medium. ③ dry. Using compressed air or vacuum suction, the filter cake remaining in the capillary drain away to get a lower moisture content of the filter cake.
④ unloading. Remove the filter cake from the filter media and wash the filter media for further filtration>
